Reports
Navigate: Menu > Reports
Contents and scope
First when you enter the reporting page, you need to select the content or contents which you want to include. You can also select a category, which will include all the contents under the category to the reports.
If you choose multiple contents or a category, the reporting will show as completed users who have completed all the selected contents.
You can also choose if you want to include assigned and started users (who are not assigned to the content), only assigned users or all users in the reports.
After you have chosen the trainings and scope, you will be able to see
- Target group – This depends on what you chose as the scope, in the example picture the total target group is assigned and started users together
- Completed – The number of users from the target group who have completed the training
- Incomplete – The users who have started the training but not completed it
- Not started – Users who have not started the training (either from assigned users of from all users, depending on the scope)
Target employee group
Here you can use user data fields to filter which users the graphs and tables on this page show.
If you click on the ruler icon, you will be able to use more advanced filtering rules, for example filtering out people from certain countries by using the “not” -rule.
Activity by day
Activity by day shows how many sessions there has been on a specific date: yellow stands for started sessions and green for complete sessions.
note
The numbers shown on the graph are sessions, not users. If a person has started and completed the training on the same day, the session will be included in both, started and completed, and thereby the user is counted twice in the activities.
Detailed results
Detailed results show a list of all users and the completion status of them. You can search for a user by name or employee id or set the list to show for example only incomplete users. The list can be downloaded as excel file from the upper right corner.
Detailed aggregate results
When multiple contents have been selected the detailed aggregate results show the number of contents completed for each user. For example, when three contents have been selected, 2/3 means that the user has completed two out of the three courses.
Report options
Under “Report options” you can set the graph to show only sessions taken between certain dates. You will be also able to set the graph to show only active or all sessions of the users. If you choose only active completions, only the latest active completion of the users will be shown. Under miscellaneous you can also include blocked user in the graph.
note
If you have set the report to show only some certain dates, the reporting will only show sessions from that time period. If someone is shown for example as not started in the detailed results, that means that they have not started the content between those dates. The user might still have started/completed the training at another time.
Additional options (Saving and scheduling)
Under additional options you can save the report and schedule it to be emailed to your own email address or to some other administrator. You will see all the saved reports under “saved reports” -page.
After saving the report, you can schedule the report by clicking the + icon on the right. You can choose the frequency, time (the reports are sent out hourly, so you can only pick the hour), time zone and the recipient.
important
What the recipient sees in the scheduled report depends on the permissions of the receiving user. For example, if you send a report which shows all employees to someone who is restricted to see only employees from Finland, the recipient will get a report of Finnish employees instead of all employees. If the recipient does not have any access to user data, they will not be sent the report.
