Mobile App
The learner portal works on mobile devices. Users can open the LMS in a mobile browser, add it to the device home screen, and receive push notifications when push notifications are enabled and allowed by the user.
The mobile experience shows the same LMS content as the browser version. The main difference is the device-level access: home screen launch and push notifications.

- Push notifications – receiving LMS notifications on a device.
- Native app – using the Datafisher LMS app from an app store.
Mobile Browser Experience
The learner portal adapts to mobile phones and tablets. Users open their organization's LMS address, log in, and use the same assigned content, catalog, profile, and learner actions available in the portal.
Home Screen Access
The portal can show Add to home screen when the user is in a supported browser and the LMS is not already running as an installed app. The help popup explains where to find the browser's home screen option for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
Push Notifications
The portal can show Send me push notifications when push notifications are enabled for the LMS and supported by the user's device or browser. Users must allow notifications before the LMS can send them.
Push notifications can be used for assigned content and training reminders.
Native App
The Datafisher LMS native app can also be installed from an app store when the organization uses that option. After opening the app, the user enters the organization's LMS domain, for example company.datafisher.com.
The native app opens the same learner portal as the mobile browser version and can request push notification permission from the device.
