Media is the LMS media bank for stock images that can be used as content images or profile pictures.

Only superadmins can manage Media. Use Media to upload reusable images, search the image bank, edit image metadata, choose default images, and remove images from the gallery.

In this section​

  • List – search and review existing images.
  • Add – upload new images to the media bank.
  • Edit media – update image metadata, defaults, crop, or delete the image from the gallery.

Edit media​

Open an image from the media list to edit it.

The Edit media page contains:

  • Image crop – controls the displayed crop of the image.
  • Title – the image title shown in the media bank.
  • Tags – keywords used for finding the image.
  • Default image for contents – marks the image as a default image option for content.
  • Default image for checklists – marks the image as a default image option for checklists.
  • Delete image – removes the image from the media gallery.

Deleted images are removed from the media gallery, but remain available where they are already used.
