Delegate permissions

Delegation gives another person access to the same selected manager-view features as the delegating manager. Delegated permissions cannot be delegated again.
tip
Create a delegation before a planned absence when someone else needs to handle organization reports or direct-report approvals.

Delegations
The Delegations table lists existing delegations created by the manager.
The table includes:
- Name – the person receiving delegated access.
- Employee ID – the receiver's employee ID.
- Scope – which manager-view permissions were delegated.
- Created – when the delegation was created.
- Valid until – when the delegation expires, if an end date was set.
Existing delegations can be deleted from the table.
Delegate
The Delegate form creates a new delegation.
Fields include:
- Name, email, or employee ID – the person receiving delegated access.
- Delegation scope – the manager-view area being delegated.
- My Direct Reports and My Organization – delegate both direct-report and organization-report access.
- My Organization only – delegate organization-report access only.
- My Direct Reports only – delegate direct-report access only.
- Valid until (optional; valid indefinitely when empty) – the end date for the delegation.
