Search and Catalog
Search and Catalog are the main ways learners find content that is not already highlighted on the landing page.
In this section
- Search – keyword-based content discovery.
- Catalog – category-based browsing.
- Relationship to assignments – how assigned and optional content appear.
- Related pages – other portal overview pages.
Search
Search lets learners find content by keyword. Search results can include different content types based on learner access.
Catalog
Catalog organizes available content by category. Categories are managed by administrators and can reflect topics, regions, business units, or other customer-specific structures.
Relationship To Assignments
Search and Catalog can include optional content as well as content that is also assigned to the learner. Assignment status affects how the content is presented, but the discovery page itself is still an overview of accessible content.
