Permission Labels
Permission labels categorize LMS entities so administrator permissions can be limited to the right area. Labels can represent organization structure, country, location, mandatory training, content ownership, or another responsibility area.
Assign labels as specifically as possible. Sublabels include their parent labels automatically, so the parent label does not need to be selected separately when a sublabel is selected.

Permission Labels List
The Permission labels page lists existing labels. The table includes Name, Description, and Updated.
The Add action opens the page for creating a new label.
Add Or Edit A Label
The label form includes Name, Short description, Description, and Parent label.
Parent label creates a hierarchy. Any permissions granted to the parent label also apply to the child label.
Usage
The Usage tab shows where the label is used. The table includes Name, Type, and Active.
Usage helps administrators understand which entities would be affected before changing or deleting a label.
How Labels Affect Access
Permission labels can be assigned to entities such as content, messages, checklist templates, categories, user groups, administrators, and roles. When a role or direct permission is limited by labels, the administrator can access only matching entities.
For example, a role can allow editing content with the "Mandatory trainings" label, or viewing reports for content with a country-specific label and users in a matching user scope.
