H5P is used to manage interactive content that can be embedded into courses, trainings, and H5P-based quiz questions.

Use the H5P section to create, edit, preview, upload, and delete reusable H5P content. Access depends on your H5P permissions.

In this section​

  • H5P list – review existing H5P content and open content for editing.

H5P list​

The H5P list shows existing H5P content that you can access. Use it to find H5P content before editing, previewing, or using it in training and quizzes.

The table shows columns such as Name and Updated. Open the H5P content from Name to edit or preview it.

The Add action creates a new H5P record when you have permission to add H5P content.

Add H5P​

Add H5P creates a new H5P record. Create the record first, then maintain the interactive content in the Edit page.

The Add H5P form contains:

  • Name – the H5P content name.
  • Permission labels –
    The fallback content to display on prerendering
    controlling which administrators can access the H5P content.

After creation, the H5P content opens in the Edit view.

Using H5P content​

H5P content can then be used where the LMS supports H5P, such as H5P-based quiz questions or H5P learning content.
