This page introduces how to create a new

Add new content creates the initial

item. After it is created, the full content management view opens and you can complete the relevant tabs for that content type.

The initial form captures these details:

  • Name – the title shown for the content.
  • Type – the content type, which determines which settings and tabs are relevant.
  • Short description – the learner-facing summary used in content cards and content pages.
  • Content owner email – the person responsible for the content. If no owner is selected, the creating admin is used as the default owner.

For more detail about these fields and the rest of the main content information, see General.

note

A unique link is created for the content after it is saved. Use it to preview the learner-facing page while completing setup.

Add shared event

Shared event creation is available only when shared event client integration is enabled and you have permission to add shared events.

The Add shared event action on the content list creates shared event content from Content URL in the source LMS. After creation, the shared event opens as content in the LMS.

Edit content

Open existing content from the content list. The available tabs depend on the selected content type, enabled features, and your permissions.
