Modules table

The Modules table lists the

items included in the learning path.

The table shows columns such as Actions, Name, File type, and Updated:

  • Actions – available module actions, such as opening details, opening reports, changing order, or removing the module from the learning path.
  • Name – the module name.
  • File type – the module content type.
  • Updated – when the module was last updated.

Removing a module from the learning path does not delete the content from the LMS.

Module reports

Module reports open reporting for the selected module. For reporting concepts, see Reports.

Module order

The module order controls how modules appear in the

The fallback content to display on prerendering
. If paced progress is enabled, the order also controls the required completion sequence.

Add modules to the learning path

Use Add module to search for existing content and add it to the learning path.

The module search uses the content name. After a module is added, it appears in the Modules table.

Options

The Options area contains settings that affect how learners move through the learning path.

Paced progress

Paced Progress requires learners to complete modules in the order shown in the Modules table.

When Paced Progress is not enabled, learners can complete the modules in any order. When it is enabled, the learning path becomes an ordered course path and each module must be completed before the next module is available.

Expire partial completions

When new modules are added to a learning path, existing learning-path completions are not changed automatically. A learner who already completed the learning path keeps that completion, even though the learning path now contains new modules.

Use Expire partial completions when those learners should also complete the newly added modules. The action expires existing learning-path completions, but it does not expire the individual module completions. Learners only need to complete the newly added modules to receive a new learning-path completion.
