The General tab contains the main
This tab is where content identity, learner-facing descriptions, ownership, categories, and the cover image are managed.

General information
The General subtab contains these fields:
- Name – the title shown for the content.
- Short description – a concise learner-facing summary used in content cards and previews.
- Description – the full learner-facing description on the content page. If it is empty, the short description is used instead. Use the text editor toolbar for formatting.
- Target group – guidance for learners about who the content is intended for. This does not control The fallback content to display on prerenderingor assignment.
- Standard duration (minutes) – the expected training time used for reporting.
- Duration as text – a text-based duration for cases where the minute-based standard duration does not make sense.
- Objectives – the knowledge or skills the learner should gain.
- Business owner email – the business or subject owner, if different from the content owner.
- Content owner email – the person responsible for the content. If no owner is selected, the creating admin is used as the default owner.
- Categories – the The fallback content to display on prerenderingthat define where the content appears in the user portal catalog. At least one category is required.
- Permission labels – The fallback content to display on prerenderingused to control administrative access to the content.
Requiring Standard duration (minutes) is off by default. When mandatory standard durations are enabled, the standard duration must be filled in.

Image
The Image subtab controls the cover image shown for this content in the user portal.
You can upload an image or select one from the gallery. If no image is selected, the LMS uses a default image. After an image is selected, the tab shows the current image and thumbnail, and the thumbnail crop can be adjusted.
